Help with Trefid or Dog-nose spoon encircled BM

I was hoping someone would be able to help me identify 1. If this is a trefid or Dog-nose spoon(no slits?). 2. Who is the Maker's Mark from? 3. Approximately what year range is it from?

I was told at first that it was a later year because of the Maker's Mark was not raised or depressed and then someone told me that it was from the late 1600s early 1700s and the Mark didn't need to be raised.

Anyway any help would be greatly appreciated.

To my eye, this appears to be a cast pewter replica of a dognose spoon, perhaps from a museum (British Museum?)
