Stumped on silver plate hallmark

Hi,

I recently bought this candle snuffer and wick trimmer in UK and I am stumped by the hallmark. I know it is silver plated and I believe it was made before 1890 as it still has the crown mark at the beginning but other than that I know nothing so any ideas would be more than welcome.

Hi Monte,

We seen similar sets of marks many times on the forum, especially that 'Q' mark, but, to my knowledge, we've yet to get an answer. The only thing I can say is that the marks have always been found on early pieces of plated wares.
