Hi,
This is the best I could do with your image of the mark.
I don`t think it`s silver.
It is very heavy yet very soft if not careful it can easily be distorted

Looks like pewter based on your description.

Hi Superstar,

Welcome to the Forum.

Can you capture a sharp close-up of the mark?

Hi again,
Offered elsewhere as ``Hammered Aluminum /Tin/ Pewter``
You said it was heavy; aluminum would be light. So, tin alloy of some kind makes sense.
It`s not silver.

The maker is 'WISNA', an Indonesian pewter manufacturer. An online search reveals many of their products on the second-hand market.

oooops sorry about that of course I did not read any how I like the bucket but I'm afraid to put it to use becouse it bends at the slightest touch if I were to put a bunch of ice in it as it is an ice bucket i presume it would look like the ice was trying to fleee through it oh well the maintenance on this is tooo funny so is the name of the metal couldn't they come up with a something other tha "pewter"
