Birmingham or gorham

Postby johnblue » Tue Feb 23, 2016 3:14 am

I'm pretty sure this is the Gorham psuedo mark from the mid 1800s, but I'm dreaming it isn't :)

Set me straight guys!

Hi John,

Welcome to the Forum.

It's neither Birmingham or Gorham. It's a mark we've seen with variations many times on the forum, but as yet, we have been unable to identify the manufacturer. It has always been noted on plated wares.

Hello,

The maker was F. & M. Weintraub of New York. The tray would date to around 1908-9.
