No Mark Anywhere?

Hello. I have a lid to some piece of holloware--I believe--but I've searched every nook and cranny of it and can't find a mark anywhere. I've even looked for hidden marks in the design. Is this normal? I don't have the bottom that should go with this. I imagine it's from the 1800's during the Aesthetic movement, but hours and hours of research has proved fruitless.Can anyone tell me if they recognize this or know of somewhere on this piece the mark could be, please? I'm somewhat new to all of this and maybe I'm missing something. Thank you!

Is the finial detachable? Is so, it may be worth checking if anything is hiding underneath it.
