As to values, though we are not supposed to discuss them on this site, word has it that many younger people are now collecting plate flateware, probably to the current affordability of it. Also, select pieces of topmarked and even bottom marked plate can sell as well as sterling and at prices above the metals value of sterling. Finally, some stainless steel by makers like Jensen are in demand by select collectors. Into the future, more attention will be paid to the post-craftsman era than it recieved in the past.
