I'm looking for any information on this pie serving piece (approx 10.25" long), I believe it is of Danish origin:
Here is a close up of the design work :
On the back of the handle, there are two marks:
One mark appears to be two towers, so I take that to mean that the pie server is silver plate?
It almost looks like there is some detail directly under the two towers, but I can't make it out:
The other mark is unclear to me, so much so that I'm including 4 photos (of the one mark) to show it rotated in 4 directions, because I don't know what is up or down on this mark:
I did look through this site's page on silverplate pictorial marks (as well as the initial marks) at http://www.925-1000.com/silverplate__menu.html
but I didn't find anything that appeared to match to me.
Am I correct to think it is Danish in origin, and that it is silverplate?
Any information that could be given on this piece would be appreciated!
