Hi Judy,

Welcome to the Forum.

Your post is in the correct place.

The 'Torch' mark is a quality control mark used on Danish silverplate.

It may be one of the marks used by Carl Cohr, but I'm not at all sure. Hopefully someone else can give a positive ID.

Please remember in future posts to keep your images to within the 7" (18cm) guidelines, otherwise those with smaller monitors may not be able to see the whole image.

I have seen these candle holders with a Carl Cohr mark before, but not with this particular mark, I agree with Trev, it could be a Carl Cohr piece.

Henrik Olsen, who documented the Cohr marks a few years ago, stated that this was definitely not a Cohr mark - Cohr did make similar candlesticks, but the construction was different...

Hi Judy,

Thanks for updating the topic. It looks like it was under our noses all of the time!
