I have a silver plate showing this hallmark: "L.H." with a knight in the middle (see photos).
Can anyone tell me what kind of hallmark this is? what kind of silver and where from?

Hi Estherisa,

Personally, I never worry about about the pixel thing, just reduce the size of your image to a max. of 7" (18cm) on your computer, using 'Paint' or a similar programme.

Maker is Lucien Houseaux of Rue des Nonnains-d'Hyères 22, Paris. He registered his mark on the 15th March 1921.
