Where does this mark comes from?

Hello,

I was wondering if any one could give me the information of who is the maker of This flatware.



From what I can tell, it has 2 marks, one stating that it is Inox since it is marked 18/10 (so I think that is inox) and the other one is a clover... but no idea what does that states, or if it follows the silver marks.

Could some one point me to the right direction?

Hi, welcome to the forum.

Perhaps not a clover but the Swiss cross, 18/10 to indicate stainless steel cutlery made in Switzerland.
The number 18/10 refers to the percentage of chromium and nickel that is used in the manufacture of the stainless steel alloy used to make the flatware.

Not sure the mark is a clover or stylized cross but most likely a maker’s/factory mark.

You may be right regarding it being a swiss cross.
But I do wonder which maker it belongs to... and what may be the year of production, since they seem old.

I am currently just mobile. No access to picture servers and so I am not able to upload images. But there seemed to exist a German stainless steel flatware maker named "Herosil", which used the 4 leaf clover as a maker mark. Google "Besteck Kleeblatt", or "Besteck Herosil", you will find numerous items on eBay with good pictures.

I think your item is from this maker.
Swiss crosses on products, even if very small, alwys have sharp edges.

Well, further search indicate, the company name seem to be "Kleeblatt", Herosil to be just a pattern name.
I cannot find further informaton except tons of selling offers on numerous sites.
