Hi All,

I have an old set of spoons that im trying to identify. I was hoping somebody here could help me to identify them. I have searched the net and forums looking particulary ar the design on the top of the handle and the number (Would this be an MD or serial number?)
I beleave that thay may be a set of James Ryals but don't actually know if this is true.

Hi Alan,

Welcome to the Forum.

That would Rd, the British Registry Design Number, this identifies the earliest possible date of production. See: http://www.925-1000.com/registry.html

From what I've seen of James Ryals's flatware, they could indeed be their work.

Trev.
