Unknown Maker Of Sifter Ladle

Please help identify this mark on a sifter ladle. The ladle is 7 inches tall. The marks are quite rubbed. I am not certain it is British. Thank you.

I'm pretty sure it's James Dixon & Sons of Sheffield. The mark is ID&S - your image is upside down.
