Mystery Hallmark, looks like sterling, BUT........!!!!!

Hi,
Picked this up at an antique store, it looks like sterling with the lion (2nd from right), but there is what looks like copper peeking through where it rubbed off some. It is heavy and was tarnished when i bought it., it shined up nice, lots of scratches on top part. Just confused why it it showing sterling , but there is copper???? Thanks!

The last mark on the right looks like a maple leaf to me. Canadian marks often include a leaf, anchor and even a lion on their marks, including silverplate. Sorry, but I have not been able to match up your mark with a manufacturer.
