Mystery to me

I spent maybe two days a searches information on the following findings.
But I could not find reliable information.
It is for this teapot.
it has been suggested that A.PRIP

Please if somebody know something about that to help.. year.. country.

Welcome to the Forum.

That is indeed the monogram 'AP' mark used by Axel Prip.

The 'P' stands for Plet (Plated).

I give you my best shot. I think those those are pewter marks, not silver marks, at least not any that I know of. Also the tea pot looks more like made of pewter or perhaps an alloy called Britannia metal (pewter and antimony), but ???

Its look like solid silver... but Im not sure..
also ok you say is A.Prip. but why I cant find teapot or coffe pot of A.Prip ???
