Alpacca serving spoon with figurative mark

Postby DianaGaleM » Sat Aug 24, 2013 4:02 am

I'm assuming this piece is German because it was shipped to me from Germany as part of a mixed lot of flatware that is otherwise entirely German.

I did my best to find this mark, but the closest I could come to something with three elements was the Hamburg city mark, which doesn't really appear to be it.

Or did this come from Area 51? These look like little space aliens.

You are so right! An anchor between two men. I scanned the list of German marks and went right by it. Thank you so much!

Well, at least I was right about it being German...
