I unearthed this wine/liquor stopper/pourer recently and would like to know if it is silver or silver plate and it's maker through the marks. The pics below should show the word HERZALPAUCA preceded by what appears to be a mark of two overlapping hearts. Appreciate any help given.

Hi,

The second part of the word is 'Alpacca'. See: http://www.925-1000.com/silverglossary.html

Herz will be the maker.

Hello, could you describe the mark on the left hand side ? Are these two joined hearts with the letters "J" and "S" ? Best wishes, Bahner
