Here's some more silverware (silverplated?) that I have no clue about. Can any of the experts out there provide any clues?

Hi,

It's a Soviet piece, made at the Shevchenko factory in the Ukraine. MHU refers to the alloy that they are made of, copper, nickel, and zinc.

The 1-30 indicates the set price of 1 Ruble - 30 Kopecks for the item.

They actually marked the price on the item when they manufactured it? Why that's - UnAmerican! :)

Here's a knife from the same manufacturer but in a different pattern that came with it. Thanks!

There is no chance that a retailer can uses a creative pricing on items when the price is stamped into the metal. :)
