Pair of Silver ducks. Maker's mark illegible.

I've had these ducks for a few years but have never been able to find out much about them. They're quite large and heavy, about 2.2 pounds each. They test positive for silver. There's no silver mark that I can see but there is a maker's mark on the bottom of the foot but I can't make it out. I've included a picture of it. There's also a mark that appears to read "Made in Spain" on the bottom of the other foot. Had anyone ever seen this mark or have any idea of the origin of these ducks?

Hello,

These may be resin filled pieces. Some countries, Italy for example, have special hallmarks for this type of process, others do not. This may account for the lack of a hallmark.

A specific gravity test will answer.

They are hollow and each has three small holes about 2 millimeters in diameter beneath the tail. When I insert a pin it and meets no resistance at all, so they're not filled. The fact that they're hollow complicates a specific gravity test. I wish the mark were legible. It would certainly make identification easier. Thanks.
