ID mark, asterik shape

Apparently an old sheffield mark, there is copper showing through in places, from shining. A second mark is shown, seems like a 10, with a cresent moon beside it, it's included in the photo. Would love to confirm it's Sheffield, if possible. Handle is wood, unvarnished, a bit red in tone. Much appreciation, Caitlyn.

I'm afraid there is little information marked on the piece to establish a maker.

ah ha, I missed that, so simple. Can we determine anything about the age, given it has some stamps? Even if we don't know who made it? Thanks! Caitlyn.
