sharing information about christofle hallmark

Hello all
just wanted to share something as i have got
on this page http://www.925-1000.com/a_christofle.html on bottom are 4 dating marks
and you have written The above marks have proved difficult to date beyond a rough estimation of late 19th to early 20th Century.

i can provide dating of only first mark as i have got spoons and knifes of it .....
and spoon have the complete markings with 84 and on the knives have that hallmark in square...

Many thanks for posting the images.

Were you thinking that the '84' refered to the date? If so, then I'm afraid not, it refers to the amount of silver deposited.
