Unknown markings on Old Handmade Spoon

I just picked up this silver spoon and have had no luck identifying it. Hoping for a little help running

Is it silver for sure? It looks very much like pewter from the pictures.

Style wise, around 1740 to around 1780 if silver, but I believe pewter spoons carried that Hanovarian pattern well into the 19th century.
