I've picked up this set of 6 Apostle forks and 6 Apostle spoons. They surely can't be true European Apostle flatware. They're stamped "90" so I'm assuming they're coin silver, so American made? If anyone can help me identify the maker, time period, and confirm the silver content, it would be much appreciated! BTW, the boxes say "Serie A en B" but the boxes may or may not be original to the flatware.
Thanks for the information. That's rather unfortunate. Without being able to establish the maker, country of origin, or age, I now have a very beautiful but low value set of silverplated flatware.
You have to accept the situation. You are the owner of a set of silver plated apostle spoons and forks. They are still in their original box. This helps for dating. I estimate something between 1960 and 1980. Maybe a couple of years earlier. As Trev mentioned, most probably German. To pin down the maker will not alter the "dollar value" of the pieces. So the value of the item is what you make out of it, how much pleasure it gives you to use them. This is what they are made for, to be used.
