I wonder if anyone can help me to interpret this hallmark and what was this bowl designed for.

Walker & Hall Hallmark
Re: Walker & Hall Hallmark
Hello, Your bowl is silver plated. It is difficult to tell the size from the picture, but it looks like a sweet dish or possibly a sugar pail. The mark underneath is a Walker & Hall holloware mark for 1907. Hope this helps.

Many thanks Paul, that is exactly what I wanted to know. It is 6" x 6" x 3.5"

Hi Paul, as a matter of interest what indicates it was made in 1907? It is stamped with an omega symbol under the flag and a capital A. I take it the number 52154 refers to the pattern number.

Hello Fred,
I have just written a small reference book about Walker & Hall silver plate. It is at the printers right now. The Omega mark is the date code and the number is the W&H pattern number. This particular piece was made in a silver plated version and also in sterling silver.
