I guess my initial post got deleted... what I am really curious about here is that the marking says "quadruple" but there is also a 925 stamp. I suppose it could be the model number for this set, but that would seem awfully misleading to put on silverplate... any ideas? Anything I could do to test the metal?

It is just the design/identification number of the object.
