Who recognises this rubbed mark? I think it's R (possibly B) - animal (lion, cat?) - flower/leaf/flame.

Hello, that is one of the plate marks of Bruckmann from Heilbronn, Germany: a "B" and a locomotive (or rather what is left of it). The front parts of the pieces are a giveaway. Typical Bruckmann stuff. Best wishes, Bahner
