I cannot find the hallmark. I searched all of the countries, the closest i found is maybe Dutch? Is anyone familiar with this hallmark?

It's EPNS, in Gothic lettering, for electro-plated nickel silver.

Please forgive my ignorance. The Gothic lettering for EPNS-what year was that? What is the material used under the electro-plating nickle silver?

Hi Jeanine.

A nickle silver alloy is the base metal under the silverplating.

The mark EPNS was used by a lot of different manufaturers.
My guess is your piece dates to the second half of the 20th century.
