Not shown »mark«

Hello »lion«

Welcome to the Forum!

I don't know if the monogram »HS« (here shown upside down) is that, what you describe to be the »unknown mark«?

I request you very kindly, to search on the backside of the stem, if there are any marks visible - if there are some, please make a photo of the (please cleaned) area of the stem; and place it here as an addition. Thank you!

By the way, you don't mention the dimension; but also not, what the additional piece should be here - it's a total different item; this 'tulip' shape like badge is in each case, not a piece of cutlery.

Yours spoon is made in a traditional form of XIX century - it seems to be factory made = after 1850 in Europe. The surface seems to have had a very thin layer of electro galvanic plated silver.

For final: Please look and read other questions and answers, to get a feeling, how to present questions as well.

Kind regards silverport
