Hello.

Looks like an early James Dixon & Sons silverplate mark.

Signification of the last letter »B« is an indication of plating quality.

Hello »carla21«

Nice to see you again, frequenting the »925-1000« forum.

I’ve an addition on the markings of yours server spoon. The in the row of single punches almost right one »B« signification is an indication of the quality of plating.

I’ve explained this already here: viewtopic.php?t=19757

Have a nice weekend!

Kind regards silverport

Hi Silverport!

Thank you for your reply. I was wondering what the 'B' stood for.

You also have a great weekend!

Carla
