Hi Can anyone identify the makers mark for me on this set of 4 silver plated napkin rings.
I cannot recognize the first letter the second letter looks like a R and the next looks like &.
the next must mean son or company followed by EP

I don't know the maker, but the mark is T R & CO (for company). The EP stands for electroplated.

Hello.

I could not make out that first letter either.

The only TR & Co I can come up with is Thomas Russell & Company located at 16 George IV Bridge, Edinburgh.
They entered a sterling mark in Sheffield on December 13 1893.

Not sure this is their silverplate mark. Just offering a possibility.

Pat.

Hi doc & Patrick
Thanks for trying to Identify the makers mark, I am not really convinced that the first letter is a T although is has similarities with the top and bottom curves. I have been checking the letters against the Gothic script which has confirmed that Coy stamp is definitely a Gothic C with a small o. I cant find a letter with what looks like a B in the middle. I have even took more Photos to try and get a clearer mark. But I now think we will never find out
Regards Jack
