Hello All,

I have this lovely inkwell which I guess is silverplate through the amount and design of the hallmarks. None of my litterature provides me with information. Can sombody help ?

Myriam,
I think your photo of the mark is upside-down - and thus the first and last two marks are E P and N S - so definately silverplate. I'm afraid I can't read the central mark.
You have an interesting collection!!!!!!

Hi Neruda,

Indeed, my collection is quite unusual. It is mainly silver, silverplate or cristal and silver inkwells and I have something like 250 of them which I try to assess.

Also, and I have not yet started, I have a collection of silver dip pens of around 300 !!

Do you want to help me ? If yes you are really welcome because it is a daunting task !!!!
