Very curious about these six knives especially because while they match they are very different -- why? The stamp is so tiny and so faint I apologize for the pictures but after trying for hours these are the best shots. Do believe the stamp says Christofle. Do others agree? Any ideas how old? Any other insight greatly appreciated.

I have seen a drawing of that mark in a 1920's Christofle catalog.
The note underneath it says that it is a special mark for guilded silverware.
I'm not sure this is correct though.
Were your knives gilded ?

Not sure I see anything unusual about the knives, lacking a size being given, they look like table knives that have been sharpened for some reason, to varying degrees.

The knives are 7.5 inches long and at that short length I thought perhaps they were fruit knives or similar although their rounded ends would not be good for fruit. Also two of the handles are much smaller in girth than the other four. They also have the scales & bee mark that is in the "we are waiting for information" part of the Christofle Silver Forum page. All those things are why I am looking for more information about these knives.

That is such an interesting question -- as I mentioned in my reply to Dragonfly the mark is shown on the "less-is-known" section of the Christofle page -- but also the mark itself on almost all the knives is very golden and the close-up pictures I took all came up with gold tones -- I thought it was just the lighting but maybe they were gilded. Unfortunately if the were, 99.99% of that is gone now.

Table knives of that length and blade shape might be intended as breakfast, luncheon, tea, dessert or youth knives, appears that you have two of one type and four of another.
