cutlery mark information

Postby ponypants » Wed Oct 15, 2008 11:05 am

Hi all!

I just found this forum when trying to research some cutlery I have.

I've got two pictures for you - I think the cutlery might be quite old, as the handles seem to be bakelite I think?

If anybody could give me any information about these knives and forks I'd be very grateful - I'm intrigued to find out how old they are!
Thanks :)

Hi,

Welcome to the Forum.

These pieces are known as Fish-eaters, they probably date from the first half of the 20th century.
EPNS stands for Electro Plated Nickel Silver.
