The Mystery Mark Returns - Information Would Be Appreciated

I obtained a beautiful serving tray with bakelite handles today and have been on several Silver sites/forums researching it's mark. I have found posts from others regarding this same silver(plate) mark. It really seems to be a mystery.

Does anyone have a suggestion on researching this mark or does someone actually recognize it? Since the tray has bakelite handles, I'm assuming it's from the 30's or 40's.

Another site had the same mark with a reply that suggested this might be Colonial Silver Company from Brooklyn, NY. Any thoughts?

Also, I believe this tray may be an earlier date, possibly 1920's.
