Hi,
I found these napkin rings without marks, except a little monogram.

Are the silverplate or sterling silver? Could they be italian?

Hello The monogram has nothing to do with the fact -is it silver or not. The monogram simply represent the owner.

But the M og W depending upon wich way it should be turnet might very vell represent a silver mark.
Is it a mark? - that is can you see the reflection of the punch on the back side? or is it just part of the ornamentation.
Look for more marks like the W or M.
But first of all can you see the mark at the backside of the ring?

Unfortunatelly this is the only mark I could see.

I took another picture, and It looks like three ghotic initials, maybe it can help.
