Need help with Hallmarks on beer tankard

Postby Alain » Wed Mar 12, 2008 3:42 am

I have been trying to find the makers name of this beer tankard, but i find nothing so far.
All the Hallmarks are unknown to me.

It is suposed to be silver, but somehow it doesn't feel "right".
On the bottom of the tankard i can see "Sheffield England".
The first Hallmark is, on top: "B", than a line, and bottom "PC".
Can you help me out here?
Thanks!!!

Hello.

The mark on the left is used by members of the Association of British Pewter Craftsmen.
Founded around 1970.

Can't guarantee it, but I suspect the maker is Harrison Bros. & Howson.
