I've searched the world over. Please help w/ID serving trays

Postby YosemiteGold » Fri Feb 22, 2008 12:48 pm

Does any one have any idea of what this mark is, or where it may be from? Replacements dot com researcher directed me to this forum for possible help. The marks pictured are on the large oval tray. Small oval has the crown and stars but no CSC. Rectangular footed server has crown and CSC but no stars. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Have not been able to identify that set of silverplate marks.
Believe it's American, 2nd half of the 20th century.

Thanks for trying Pat. This is a tough one. I've done searches in the past and I'll get a hit or two and they're always the same. Unknown maker's mark. It seems odd that all three have different varying marks especially the oval trays. They are obviously the same pattern. Thanks again.

Given the Crown graphic and the initials, I suspect it is an undocumented mark of Crown Silver Company, listed in Rainwater with a mark illustrating a crown + "Crown Silver Co".
