Hello Pottereee-
I can not see it very well, but could it say "Communium" (latin for communion). From your picture it appears that this is on the bottom of the vessel? are there any other markings?

I read it as 'Community'.

So now we have a community communion cup, what will we think of next? Does not appeal to me much, not very hygenic. Pottereee, what do you think? the photo is very hard to make out. Do either of our transciptons hold wine or water?
I can not make the center picture out at all, are you attempting to show a makers mark? now that I look at it... the mark on the left reminds me of a genies lamp, and I know that one was identified here in the past, I just do not remember who it was.
Best wishes, and Happy Holiday's - Byron

Oneida had a community trademark.
Just wondering if this is a different version of what I've seen.

I must agree with Patrick. Oneida Community Plate was sold in the U.K. (and probably other countries) from the 1950'swith this signature on the cutlery blades and the underside of holloware pieces. I think what you have there is a sugar bowl from a tea set.
