HI, I am hoping to get a little help with the marks on another set of tongs:



I have not got a very good picture of the marks, but I wonder if someone with a keen eye might be able to help with this, hope so.



Sorry for the poor picture. I am just hoping that someone may be better at this than me! Both this and my previous post are two items from an elderly relative who passed away last year. She was 102 and led an amazing life. I am really interested in the history of both sets of tongs.

Any help much appreciated.

Hi

The mark on it's side on the far left - would that be the letters EP? As in Electro Plated? I say this because the marks seem to me to be Silverplate marks, as opposed to Sterling Silver (where we would expect a Lion Passant for example).
