Hello, thanks for putting in the effort so we all can see the your images. Could the first 2 marks be gothic lettering, "NP", maybe for nickel plate? Do you think the next mark is another gothic letter, guessing a gothic "U" but "NPU" did not throw up anything to me. Could it be a pictorial mark, maybe a bird. The next mark is to me obviously an elephant. Could the Indian sub continent be a possible origin of the the ladle? I am sure there could be other "firms" that used a elephant as a trademark, but Hamilton & Co of Calcutta (Bombay and some other cities as well) definitely used one in association with their silver marks. They were a very large colonial company making all types of solid silver items in the 19th century and 20th century and there are lots of references to them on the Forum. There is more about silver and some about selling watches in the 20th century. I wonder if they wholesaled plated ware in the late 19th and early 20th centuries and the "JG & JJ" mark was a retailer that they supplied. The below reference does mention tankards with silver plate.

Well over 100 people have looked at your images but no other replies so far. I am not the definitive answer but here maybe are some suggestions for more research.
