Hello all, I'm fairly accustomed to dealing with British hallmarks so this item is alien to me. I can't seem to figure out where this one is from. The maker's mark suggests it's Victorian British (W Jackson & Son?) however I can't figure out the other marks.
It''s a silver brooch with maker's mark W.J & S.
The first mark looks a little bit like a musical note, letter M or maybe some sort of harp. The second mark is a 925. The third mark looks a bit like a greek 'Tau' letter and is something I've never seen in silver before - I've attached an example of what it looks like below.
In terms of style, it's an Irish shamrock with green agate inlay. Many thanks!

Re: Can't figure out this hallmark
Thank you so much! Of course it's Irish, I should have realised...
Re: Can't figure out this hallmark
As an aside, is there somewhere I can find the list of 'import to Dublin' date letters? I only ask as the brooch style is unusual for the 1980s. Many thanks!

There are no import-specific date letters for any of the British and Irish assay offices. The same letters are used for home-production and import.
