Hello,
I was looking for some information on the pictured Masonic Jewel. It is claimed that the Jewel was made in 1871. There is a close up of a mark - COIN.
Is this indeed a makers mark? I have not found it in the Online Encyclopedia of Silver Marks, Hallmarks and Maker's Marks
Thank you to anyone who may be able to enlighten me!

Coin refers to the quality of the silver, 900 parts out of 1000.
