Origin of this silver ring

Post by WhiteTree »

Hi,
I'm new on this forum and I'm sorry if I posted this in the wrong place. I actually found this ring by pure accident while digging some ground and I would like to know more about it. Thank you

Hi,
.925 indicates sterling fineness.Milesimal standard (925) was used since late 19th century, so the ring could be either very late 19th century or 20th century, definitively not older than that.
Based only on 925,being the only mark, the maker cannot be identified.

Minor correction for search engine: millesimal.
