925 Thailand face hallmark

A few days a fellow jewelry hunter sent me a picture of a piece he found. It had a square with a face in it, and 980. We have no idea who the makers mark is.
Today, I found a cute earring and ring set. I couldn't tell what the hallmark was. When I got home and looked at it closely, it is the same exact one he asked me about. So we both would like to find out who this is.
My pieces feel heavy and look well made. They look like a designer piece. The ring has white topaz with a diamond cut in it. That is about all I know about these two pieces.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. The black on the ring is residue from the tag. I didn't clean it yet.
