Help dating a 900 silver ring

I purchased this ring from a dealer a few days ago. I wondered if anyone could help me date it? It is market 900. I think it's a stylised dolphin. Any ideas? Also any ideas on its origin?

I am trying but I keep getting an error message saying can only be up to 1000 pixels wide. I've take lots of different photos now and it is saying the same in each one I try to upload. Any ideas?

900 is the only stamp/mark

That is a good photo of the mark.

The style of the ring, as well as the mark, do not look Asian to me.

I agree that the animal looks like a stylized dolphin, like the kind of sea creature drawn on a 17th century map of the Mediterranean. I suspect the ring is mid-twentieth century, but defer to those with expertise in jewelry, the forum to which an adminstrator or moderator will surely move this topic posthaste.
