Assistance appreciated recognising hallmark & origin of ring

Hello and good evening to you all,

I have been trying to identify the hallmarks on a ring that I just bought but haven't had much luck. The seller was under the impression that it is foreign although I am not all that convinced. Sadly until I receive the ring I only have one poor picture. Can anyone recognise any of the hallmarks on this piece from the picture provided? I am very curious about the diamond shaped hallmark as it does look intriguing.

I appreciate any input based on shape and design as to the age and origin of the ring too. It has a very majestic look to it and I don't think it is a contemporary ring but I may be wrong, at least not based on contemporary designs anyway lol

Thanks once again for any input into this topic.

Regards

Jon (Yhya)

Hi Jon,

Welcome to the Forum.

I'm afraid that with such a blurry image you may struggle to get an answer, and I suspect your image may be upside down.

I've rotated the image and embedded it, as many viewers will not click on links.

Thanks Trev for posting the picture. I have managed to work out two of three, it's just the diamond figure on the left hand side of the picture that you posted.

If anyone comes across any info I would appreciate it. Once it arrives I'll take some clearer pics and post them.
