Help on where this brooch is from, possibly middle eastern

I have a brooch and the marks totally have me stumped, I thought they maybe middle eastern or in the region thereabouts, but I cannot find any reference to them.

They are very small and have tried my best to photograph them, the marks are located on the pin.

The marks, one using a loupe and one in natural light, there appears to be what looks like a B or an 8 then again what appears to be possible Arabic writing.
