Old earrings, Japanese in origin?

Hi, first time user here~

I love old silver vintage anything, and this morning at a garage sale, I picked up two sets of earrings, with only the markings "SILVER", on the backs of each sets' screwbacks, and on the back bottomside of the larger set. The lady from whom I bought them said they were her mother's, and that she bought them while in Japan.

I'm so sorry, I'm just not figuring out how to get these images to load on here :P. Would someone please help me with either getting these images on here, or can I email them to someone? I just want to know something about their possible origin and perhaps the age. There is no gradation on the earrings anywhere.

Thanks for the Tinypic suggestion, I'm trying it out now. I read the guidelines on here, but I didn't get them at all. As soon as I get them sized correctly, I'll post. Thanks again!

These are the two sets. The last image is one I was trying to get of the word "silver" engraved in the back of the screw, but because it is so tiny, it's hard to get a good clear shot of it. On each set, the word "silver" in engraved there, but only on the first rectangular set is it also in another location.

I have a picture of each set as well, but I'm mainly interested in trying to determine an approximate age. Country of origin would be helpful, too, but not necessary. If anyone wants additional pictures, I'll be more than happy to upload them.
