Thanks Trev, after finding out that bit I have now through a web link found out the the 3rd sysmbol is the date for 1941-1943

Hi Dave,

There is lot of Egyptian silver in the UK from around that date, brought back by troops serving in that sector in WWII.

Hi Trev, that now makes sence as there is quite a bit of WWII on that site and coinage from that time period, think there was also a Anti-Aircraft Gun implacement there
