Large Ring Stamped W/ Horseshoe & European Cross Inside

I have searched high and low and all over the internet, devoting many hours to the search and I have not had any success in identifying the maker of this ring. I cannot tell if it is antique or merely vintage, silver plated or what.... I hope that someone here can help me identify this ring and date it appropriately. Any help is appreciated.
