Please help me identify this mark

This is a tiny pin measuring only 3/4" long by just over 1/2" wide. I need help identifying the mark ob=n the back .. it is stamped STERLING 925 R , then a lion facing left with a raised paw ... Thank you in adveance ;)

Could this be Canadian? A composite of the shields of different provinces?
The "R" mark looks similar to Roden Brothers in this posting viewtopic.php?t=1345
